About UnJaded News

Right, so… I’m Sarah Jade. Born and bred in Yorkshire, proud owner of a fiery head of hair (short now, thanks to a very impulsive haircut last year), and a mouth that’s been described as “gobby” more times than I can count. If you know me from Quora, you’ve probably seen me holding court on all sorts of topics sometimes deep and serious, sometimes just poking the bear for a laugh.

Quora’s kind of where this all started. I ended up with a bit of a fanbase there apparently, people enjoy watching a redhead from Yorkshire call things as she sees ’em. Unapologetic, blunt, and not afraid to get stuck into a good debate. And honestly, after years of sharing my thoughts on there, I thought, “Why not just create my own place to chat, rant, and share stories without worrying about word limits or algorithms?”

So here we are. UnJaded News.

This isn’t your usual news site where everything sounds like it’s been run through a robot twice before publishing. I don’t do “safe” headlines or watered-down opinions. If something’s worth talking about, I’ll talk about it whether it’s a government blunder, a conspiracy theory that makes you raise an eyebrow, or one of those bizarre little cultural moments that only Britain could produce. I cover the serious stuff, sure, but I’m not above having a laugh at the absurdity of it all.

One day I might be diving into the whole “Are we living in a simulation?” thing, the next I might be dissecting why an EasyJet flight turned into pure chaos, or giving my two pence on a political mess. Think of it like sitting down with a mate who’s just as happy discussing free speech as they are mocking the latest ridiculous celebrity headline.

I’m not pretending to be some polished, perfect journalist. I’m just a woman with an opinion (or ten), a slightly sarcastic streak, and a genuine passion for cutting through the nonsense to get to the heart of a story. Some people like it, some people don’t but at least you’ll always know where I stand.

So, pull up a chair, grab yourself a brew, and have a scroll. Whether you’re here for the big issues, the oddball theories, or just to watch me stir the pot a bit, welcome to the UnJaded crowd. It’s nice to have you here.
